Need info for article Hello, I am a writer for Just Frenchies Magazine. I am also a previous donor to Best Friends. I am currently researching information for an article I'm writing on the affect the financial crisis is having on our pets and animals (i.e., foreclosed homes, pet surrender and abandonment), with special emphasis on Frenchies. I was thrilled to find your site and would like to showcase your organization and the great service you are doing for animals. If you are willing, I'd like to request quotes, statistics, stories, photos, organizational focus, history, sponsors, programs, awards, donations, spokespersons, contacts, or anything else you think the public should know about. If you have rescued any French Bulldogs, I am especially interested in that information. Location of pet help Hi! I am a volunteer with the local animal shelter here in Saint Joseph, Missouri. I love it that you do all you can to help animals stay with their families. questionable mtg co i have to say i can see everyone's point, it is much easier to say you will never give your animal up, but let's face it, we have never been in such a bad state in our lifetime, i think the mtg compainies that have been dishonest & are not willing to work w/these people, how about them having to pay a shelter $250 per animal displaced? that would make them stop and take stock in what they are doing. i know, i am a victim of a very dishonest co. and am even looking at moving to another state to live w/my sister in order to keep 2 of my animals, i have already had to place my other 2 cats in a no kill shelter (they were on a 6 wk waiting list). so, people, when you see this coming, take action now, it may save your companion, who did nothing to deserve this.
