Adylee half weimer & Chocolate Lab My house was lost because of my divorce. I kept all my pets, but because Adyee requires thyroid medicine daily I am afraid that cost has threatened my being able to keep her. I love her dearly and would like to know if there is a program to adjust the price of medications? Any information you can give would be greatly appreciated! Thank you,, Jennifer Submitted By: Jennifer Brown

Dog needs home I am facing foreclosure and was able to get one of my 2 dogs into the Humane Society. They could not take my Lhasa Apso because he is temperamental and could be aggressive. I rescued him from the street but have microchipped him in my name after reporting to the shelter where and when I found him. How can I get him into the shelter as I have heard that one cannot simply take a dog in and say they do not want him? Any assistance is appreciated, Karen Lopez 760-696-8859 home: 760-721-6609 Submitted By: Karen Lopez

what do i do hi i have a pit bull that i saved in la when i was working for fema. When i found him he only weighed 15 pounds. He is now 48 pounds and very healthy. The problem is now i took him to the vets to get him fixed and the vet told me that he has heartworms and that he could not proceed with surgery. He told me it was going to be between $596--$937 to get rid of the heartworms.I am in construction and i can afford that kind of bill at this time.He told me there was nothing he could do? I need some info on what i can do or maybe there is a org. that can help me.Thank you for your time Submitted By: mike donovan

spaying assistance of a stray kitten I found to strays in the road and soaked from the week long rain. After trying to make them well with feeding and a warm place, one of them passed on. The other kitten now about 7-8 months is doing good but I do not have the funds for spaying so I may have to take her to the humane society. I went to friends of felines, yes I got a certifcate for 25.00 but I would still have to pay 25.00 for a pre surg check and 25.00 for my share in the spay cost. Is ther any other assistance? The costs to help are droening me as I had 1 year earlier help another kitten that was thrown over my fence. I have a soft heart for these poor kittens but I can not afford the spaying and shots. Can anyone give me more insight for addition help or would it be best to take her to the shelter. Thank you for any help! Donna Submitted By: Donna
