Is there help available for veterinary care? Hi. I have run into some tough financial times and am having a hard time paying my bills and keeping my home. I have a wonderful Rottweiler who has been my companion for 8 years and don't know what I would have done without her during the ups and downs the last few years. I have put off other payments in order to get her to the vet and keep up on her heartworm and vaccinations. I had her at the doc's a few weeks ago because she has a growth in her mouth and he said she needed to go to a veterinary dentist to have this taken care of but it will be very expensive. Right now I'm working on keeping my house out of foreclosure and can't afford even a small vet bill, let alone a large one but how can I put off the care she needs. She is my family and it hurts to not be able to give her the care she needs. Is there any help out there? Thanks so much for any information. Submitted By: Mary Morris

I trashout foreclosures and have run across some rabbits, cats and even a horse. I can't house a horse, but I can take dogs, rabbits, ducks, etc. and would love to know how to bring this into Arizona. Submitted By: Christine Gifford

suggestions For those who want to reduce pet suffering, which is directly related to pet overpopulation 1) get phone numbers on your pets now! (so they aren't taken to pounds in the first place) That leaves space at pounds for other homeless pets. 2) spay/neuter all your pets, NO exceptions Don't breed; instead use your resources to save homeless pets already here 3) adopt your next pet from a non-breeding source. When you buy, homeless pets die! 4)The crisis is everywhere; the large organizations aren't telling the public how terrible it is. We CAN reduce the problem of homeless pets. Unlike Cancer or Autism, we have control over the pets. None of the pets who will be killed, or abandoned came on a UFO from a distant planet. Each came from a non-fixed pair of pets. Spread your link I have a property preservation company in Northwest Arkansas. I would like to add a link to your site to get the word out about your service in my area. Cubicyard.us is a much used website for my business and it would be well worth it to have them promote your cause to our industry as we are usually the first to discover pets left behind. Please let me know if I can use your logo and create a link that goes to your site. Thank you, Fellow animal lover Submitted By: Jim Reeves
