Want to link to your site Hi, I have a website doing a house raffle, I'm going to be setting these up for other homeowners now since so many have contacted me. I would love to add your link to my website. I blog about foreclosure & the left behind animal problem, this is perfect & maybe we can get you some more donations. http://www.ownahomefor100.com Either send me the html for the link or let me know how to get it. Thanks & good luck, this is very needed. Jacquie Davies Submitted By: Jacquie Davies

fostering My husband and I have a variety of pets throughout the years. Unfortunately age has started to catch up with them and our family is much smaller. We would be interested in fostering a variety of animals. How would we go about it? Submitted By: Michele

I have a poodle by the name of Sugar, who has a skin fungus I don't no what to do for her because I can not afford to take her to the vet. I can barely keep a roof over our heads, but I can't stand to see her suffer. She just bites and scratch her self raw please help, or tell me where I can get help reasonable Submitted By: Linda

I have time, but no dinero I am with Susan on this. I don't have money to give, but I have time. I would be more than willing to visit these homes to ensure the pets are being taken care of. Susan 12/10/2008 11:29:49 AM Finding animals who are left behind I would like to have a list of forclosed homes to visit within a day or so of the families leaving. Hopefully my friends and I could find any animals left behind before it is too late for them. Who would I contact locally in Montgomery, AL? Is there a phone number or organization that most foreclosures go through? Any ideas would be appreciated. If there is someone doing this in other states, how do you get the info or gain access to the homes? (copied some of Sandy's comment, great minds think alike) Submitted By: Susan Submitted By: Lindsay

I would like to help I am a Realtor working foreclsoures in the Rochester NY area. I would like to place your link in my e-mail and have been been given flyers to post at homes facing foreclosure. I have often called animal control as I had no other knowledge of what to do when finding distressed and abandon pets. I would like to learn the alternatives and be a member of you team. Please advise how I join your organization and how i obtain the proper tools to assist. Submitted By: Sherry Gallagher

Suggestion Please forward information about your organization/program to ALL Realtor Associations and ask that they post it BOLDY on their websites and in their newsletters. It is quite often that home/pet owners that are at risk for foreclosure will contact a Realtor to try to sell their home first. If this fails and the home is foreclosed on then by having your information ahead of time they may be able to make arrangements before the situation is critical. Please feel free to contact me. Cats-Meow-Animal-Shelter.org (501c3) I need information and resources for help with the expense of food and other needs. We have 60 cats and 4 dogs. One dog has seizures and takes a lot of care. Most of our cats are special needs or are feral cats. The source for food and litter that we used for 3 years has dried up due to the economy. We are a no-kill shelter, we take animals that are sick, old, abused or are going to be killed like feral cats with FIV. We want to do more but we are limited at this time. Thank you for any information or resources you are able to give us. Vickie Davis for CMAS Submitted By: Vickie Davis
